About the HUMVEE® M1151A1 with Gunner Protection Kit
The HUMVEE® M151A1 is the latest version of the venerable High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) series of 1 1/4 ton trucks that has become ubiquitous for it’s wide-spread use by the US Military since the late 1980s. The M1151A1 one of the latest models and is classified as an enhanced Weapons Carrier variant of the HMMWV series. Its unique features are an up-armored crew cab and heavy machine gun turret on the roof.
