This is a limited-edition bundle in partnership with Valor Studios that features a Guadalcanal Marine and Pacific Campaign veteran Sid Phillips custom minifig, created by Brickmania, as well as an author-signed hardcover copy of the book You'll Be Sor-ree!: A Guadalcanal Marine Remembers the Pacific War, along with a certificate of authenticity from Valor Studios.

A mortarman with H-2-1 of the legendary 1st Marine Division, Sid was only seventeen years old when he entered combat with the Japanese. Some two years later, when he returned home, the island fighting on Guadalcanal and Cape Gloucester had turned Sid into an "Old Timer" by Marine standards, and more: he left as a boy, but came home a man.

The highly detailed Sid Phillips custom minifig was designed using 100% original artwork and manufactured at Brickmania® Headquarters in Minneapolis, MN.  Includes a brick-built mortar mini kit plus hand-injection molded Mortar Shell from, BrickArms.
