Brickmania Ukrainian D-21-11 – Unmanned Ground Vehicle
Proceeds from this Ukrainian Benefit kit go to Wingmen For Ukraine. Their mission is to help keep the pilots of the Ukrainian Air Force in the skies by getting them the equipment they need to defend their cities and civilians from the Russian airborne threats currently ravaging the country.
About the Ukrainian D-21-11 – Unmanned Ground Vehicle:
Next up in Brickmania’s Ukraine Benefit Series is the Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) D-21-11. In an effort to minimize human casualties, Ukrainian soldiers and developers are ushering in an army of killer robots. The Ukrainian made D-21-11is a remotely-controlled 4-wheel vehicle with a turret capable of carrying various weapons systems. Mounted with a machine gun, the D-21-11 shows the potential for mobile gun platforms that do not endanger the operator.
However, the D-21-11 shows additional potential. The UGV can evacuate wounded soldiers and can carry supplies back to the front, thus protecting medics and other troops from exposing themselves to fire. The D-21-11 also can fulfill reconnaissance missions, as it is low to the ground, has a 15-20km range, and can handle rough terrain. Further developments seek to integrate NATO weapons and strengthen its resistance to missiles. Poised for increased production, the D-21-11 promises to strengthen the resilient Ukrainian defenses.
