About the  F-14A Tomcat™ - Carrier-Capable Air Superiority Fighter

The Grumman F-14 Tomcat was the premier US Navy air superiority fighter from 1974 to 2006, was a large twin-engine fighter aircraft, crewed by a pilot and radio intercept officer, and featured an innovative variable-sweep wing. Various upgrades would be incorporated over it's 32 year career, with later models featuring advanced avionics and expanded capabilities, including long-ranger interceptor, aerial reconnaissance, and precision air-to-ground capabilities. The F-14A was the initial all-weather capable air-superiority and the most produced type of all of the Tomcat models.

Our F-14A Tomcat kit incorporates numerous upgrades and revisions of our previous version, including completely redesigned variable sweep wings, reinforced landing gear, and is compatible with our 2023 edition Universal Aircraft Stand. Armaments included are a pair each of AIM-9 Sidewinder and AIM-7 Sparrow missiles, with custom 3D printed wing and nose cones. This includes nearly 100 printed elements, including two custom crewmen, and markings for Fast Eagle 102 of the Black Aces circa 1981 "Gulf of Sidra" incident.
